Gajuwaka and its colonies
Gajuwaka is one of the biggest home and shopping areas of Vizag, on NH 16. We move homes in all its colonies, including Old Gajuwaka, New Gajuwaka, Chinagantyada, Gantyada HB Colony and Janata Colony, and in nearby Pedagantyada (PIN 530044).
A few details help our team reach the right door:
- Colony name – write it in the form, not just “Gajuwaka”.
- A landmark – a temple, school or shop near your home.
- Door number and street – the same as on your bills.
- Floor number – so we send enough hands to carry heavy items.
- Location on WhatsApp – share it with us on moving day.
- A contact number – of the person who will be at the house.

Moving for a job at the steel plant, HPCL or the port
Many families in Gajuwaka work at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, HPCL or Gangavaram Port. If you are moving into Gajuwaka for a new job, or moving out of it, these steps help:
- Share your shift days
We fix the moving date on a day you are off duty.
- Keep work items with you
ID cards, uniforms, safety shoes and work papers stay in your own bag, not in our boxes.
- Moving inside Vizag
If both homes are in the city, we usually load in the morning and unload the same day.
Coming from another city? Send the old address and the new Gajuwaka address together, and we quote the whole move in one go.
The full packing process is explained on our household shifting page.
Shifting a shop in the Gajuwaka market
Gajuwaka has a large market with clothes, jewellery and utensil shops. If you are moving your shop, we plan it so you lose as little business as possible.
- Before the move
- Count your stock and pack it into boxes by type. We label each box with what is inside.
- Racks and glass counters
- We take apart racks, wrap glass counters and move display units with care.
- Cash and valuables
- Keep cash, gold and important papers with you. They do not go in our boxes.
- Timing
- Pick a day like your weekly holiday, so the shop opens on time at the new place.

What your Gajuwaka move costs
The cost depends on how much you move, the packing you choose and how far the new place is. A home and a shop are priced as separate lines. Your quote shows packing, labour, the vehicle and transport, plus taxes.
Want to send your bike or car too? See how vehicle transport is added to the quote.
