Moving your home to Srikakulam
We handle the full job of household shifting on this route: packing in Vizag, the road trip and unloading at your new home in Srikakulam. Small moves, like a few pieces of furniture, are welcome too.
One address tip: Srikakulam Road railway station is in Amadalavalasa town, not in Srikakulam city. If your new home is near the station, write Amadalavalasa in the address. If it is in the city, add the colony name and PIN code. This keeps the delivery point clear in your quote.
What our team does at each end
Here is the work split between your Vizag home and your Srikakulam home:
- In Vizag: packing – each room is packed, and fragile items are wrapped one by one.
- In Vizag: numbering – every box gets a number, and you get a copy of the goods list.
- In Vizag: loading – heavy furniture goes in first, then the boxes.
- In Srikakulam: unloading – goods are carried in and placed in the rooms you show us.
- In Srikakulam: fitting – beds and wardrobes are put back together if you booked it.
- In Srikakulam: checking – you match the boxes with the list before the team leaves.
Have a car or bike to send too? It can be added to the same enquiry. See car and bike transport.
Your Vizag to Srikakulam moving cost and payment
The price depends on what you are moving, the packing you want and the vehicle size, so there is no single rate for this route. Your quote lists packing, labour, vehicle and transport separately, with taxes, and you get a tax invoice for the move.
Before you pay anything, ask these questions:
- How much is paid at booking?
Know the advance amount and when the balance is due.
- What if the date changes?
Get the date-change and cancellation terms in writing.
- Is there any extra charge?
Check that the quote covers every item, the floors and any fitting work.
Keep a receipt for every payment you make.
Your first day in the new Srikakulam home
A little order on the first day makes settling in much easier:
- Open the essentials box first – a few utensils, a kettle, soap, towels and phone chargers.
- Set up the beds next – everyone sleeps well, even if other boxes wait.
- Let the fridge rest – keep it upright for a few hours before switching it on.
- Unpack the kitchen and bathroom – these rooms are used most in the first week.
- Check the goods list again – make sure every numbered box has been opened or kept aside.
- Flatten empty boxes – stack them in one corner so they take less space.
